NETHERLANDS URSI COMMITTEE

Welcome to the Netherlands Member Committee of URSI (Union Radio-Scientifique Internationale).

URSI is non-governmental and non-profit organization under the International Council for Science. It is responsible for stimulating and coordinating, on an international basis, studies, research, applications, scientific exchange, and communication in the fields of radio science.

UPCOMING INTERNATIONAL MEETINGS

2010 Asia-Pacific Radio Science Conference, Toyama International Conference Center, Toyama, Japan, September 22-26, 2010.  Second Call for Papers posted on the AP‑RASC'10 website: http://www.ap-rasc10.jp/

The 2011 General Assembly and Scientific Symposium will be held in Istanbul, Turkey, from 13 to 20 August 2011.  More information on the website of the event: http://www.ursigass2011.org/ . Deadline for paper submission is February 11, 2011. URSI will again be offering awards to support young scientists to attend the 2011 General Assembly and Scientific Symposium. Please find a letter explaining the procedure for considering applications for Young Scientist Awards and a copy of the 2011 conditions for Young Scientist Awards.
